AQUASPLASH FESTIVAL
This festival is all about having fun and games in the water to develop water confidence. Nearly 60 children from Knowle, Mayflower and Pennycross came throughout the morning and had great fun. Swim Cats Swimming School delivered the festival and were helped by our fantastic year 7, 8 and 9 Sports Leaders who gave 1:1 support in the water.

Living For Sport project - International athlete visits All Saints!
All Saints Academy have successfully been running the Living For Sport programme for 5 years. This programme is designed to develop confidence, self-esteem and social skills with selected students from Years 7 and 8
From being involved in the scheme All Saints were lucky to have a visit from an international athlete- Jo Yapp -who delivered an inspirational session to our Living For Sport group, an assembly on key steps to success and advice on time management and planning to our Gifted and Talented sporting students. Our Year 7 girls were also lucky enough have a rugby session delivered by Jo

Jo gained her first international rugby win at the age of 18 and went on to play for her country 70 times, competing in three World cups, gaining two silver medals and rising to the position of team captain in 2005/06.
This is Jo's first term as a Sky Sports Living for Sport Athlete Mentor. She says: "The programme allows you to deliver to all students - not just those that are interested in sport. It sets out clear messages and skills that students can relate to in order to reach their own personal goals, whatever they may be.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to meet and have advice from an experienced international athlete. Jo's advice on the key steps to success applies not just to sport but to everything in life and the students gained a great deal from this visit.

On 28th March All Saints took part in the first ever Festival Of Sport. This was held at Marjons and organised jointly by Plymouth University, Marjons and the Sports Development Unit.
