 Kevin Sellar - Community Rowing Coach 

What is it and how do I get involved?

Kevin Sellar, the PRF Coach (Plymouth Rowing Forum) works from Plymstock School and coaches the whole of the Plymstock SSP from Year 5 -13.

Rowing indoors on Ergo’s or on the water sculling/fixed seat rowing is a great way to increase general fitness and learn a new skill. Water courses start April 20 and run every 5 weeks until October half term. All courses are held at Mount Batten Water Sports centre. Contact the PE dept for details.

Indoor rowing at a Plymstock SSP school  call Kev Sellar and book a date. Kev will supply the Ergos and fun for Years 5-13. NGB awards available over 5 hours work schedule. 'Since September a number of Gymnastics Clubs have been set up across the partnership. Many pupils have taken up the opportunity to access these clubs and have been working towards achieving a range of British Gymnastics Awards. Currently several Clubs across the Partnership are working towards a Gymnastics Display to be performed during the Easter term.

Plymstock School Community Trampoline Club is open to all Key Stage 1+2 pupils. It will be holding its first club competition at the end of March. Everyone has been training hard for the last few weeks and we look forward to seeing the end results. Keep up the hard work everyone!

These clubs will continue to run throughout the year but do need your support, please continue to make pupils aware of the opportunities available
